OUR STORY

   This foundation is dedicated to the loving memory of Elizabeth Yaa Mansa. An astute and loving woman, who always stressed the need for education as a vehicle for personal development and community transformation. Coming from a village in Kwahu-Atibe in the Eastern Region of Ghana, she only achieved a 3rd-grade level education due to the lack of financial resources and societal attitudes toward the value of educating the girl child. She would often speak of her desire to continue her education, as it has more than just monetary value. She viewed it as a foundational framework of individuals, whose attitudes and mindsets informs the framework of broader society.

It is in this spirit that this foundation was established to honor and actualize the value Elizabeth placed on education, as a vehicle of change, individually and communally. The mission of this foundation is to provide support for the development and success of committed students who require financial and developmental assistance to achieve their personal and career goals and to further support the growth of a talent pool ready to serve in industries that bolster Ghana’s economic growth. The aim of this foundation to create a pipeline of qualified and dedicated professionals who will fill professional spaces required to aide in the advancement of Ghana. As Elizabeth has believed, providing this support can and with consistent effort, lead to change that transform communities, and furthermore a nation.
